Is Jesus your source?
In John's vision of what is to come after the great and terrible Day of the Lord, John has seen heaven and earth remade and watched the glorious city of New Jerusalem descend out of heaven from God. A city whose foundations were made of vibrant jewels and whose gates are made of precious pearls and whose inhabitants are the Bride of Christ. But what more is there to the city where the redeemed of Christ will live with Him forevermore?
This week we'll keep studying through Revelation 21-22 and John's description of the New Jerusalem. We'll learn what John finds in the city when he searches for the Temple of God, and look again at what it means to have our names written in the Lamb's Book of Life. And we'll see how Jesus is the unveiled source of all light and life in the New Jerusalem and how to make Him the source of our life today, even if now we can only see and know in part.
