What will Heaven really be like?
After John saw a vision of Jesus walking among His churches on earth, John was caught up into the heavens where he sees God on His heavenly throne. He then observes the events of the last days from that perspective of heaven: the great tribulation, the return of Christ to earth, the millennial reign of Christ, then the final judgment over all creation. But when God's purposes with heaven and earth have finally concluded, what will come next on God's heavenly calendar?
This week we'll begin to study this new heaven and new earth that John describes in Revelation 21. We'll look at the differences and similarities between the old heaven and the new heaven and answer questions like: Is there time in heaven? and What will heaven look like? And we'll learn how this knowledge of heaven should influence our lives for God today.
