In 2007, Amanda Knox was a normal American girl on an academic exchange in Italy. Within a couple of months she would find herself on trial for the murder of her roommate and the subject of a media circus that made her one of the most talked-about defendants of the 21st century. Part one will cover Amanda meeting her boyfriend and fellow defendant, Raffael Sollecito, and the initial investigation up until Amanda and Rafael are in custody.
