Mona Shelton grew up in and out of the foster care system in Spokane ,Washington. When Mona was eleven years old , she voluntarily left the foster care system and was a homeless child learning to survive on the streets. Mona shares how education , fire dancing and her Burner community have given her inspiration , positivity and support amongst the intense life challenges she has had to face.
