In the 1980s, Tampa, Florida was living in fear. A man was on the loose — charming his way into women’s homes through newspaper ads before turning into a violent predator.

This is the story of Bobby Joe Long, known both as The Classified Ad Rapist and Tampa’s Serial Killer. Over several years, Long committed at least 50 rapes and murdered 10 women — until one brave 17-year-old, Lisa McVey, outsmarted him and brought his killing spree to an end.
