Description

Don’t make the mistake of simply seeing a student athlete in Esaias Guthrie. Esaias owns three companies: a jewelry manufacturer company, a teaching tool- that educates athlete’s on how to manage different deals, and an assisted living facility to help specific individuals in need.

A proud student at Jackson State University, and a young father, Esaias shares the struggles that have been part of his journey; but you MUST hear him talk about the love of the academic home that has become family. It won’t be the last time you will hear a caution against the acceptance of failure as part of one’s narrative, so hear Guthrie’s; it will inspire you to revisit your goals and remind yourself why you had them in the first place.

Calling all Jackson State Tigers, and proud southern HBCUers, tune in to this conversation and use it to remind yourself why you do what you do.
