When a student athlete finds themselves shedding that title before graduation, you better believe an identity crisis occurs. After all, when you’ve been the popular jock from the age of 4 to 20, that IS a well formed identity. It takes intentional self awareness to go through that journey of redefinition; it takes courage to talk about it and admit the crisis out loud.
