Solo travel can be quite intimidating and seem like something other, more adventurous people do; however, on today's episode we chat with IHN friend Tessa about the art of solo travel.

Almost as if it was straight from her travel journal, she believes “being alone by no means has to be lonely. For me, solo traveling is a way to connect to myself, to other people, and to other ways of life. It opens my eyes to things I never would have stopped to notice.

Sometimes, I have an initial idea of what I need going into a trip: self exploration, finding my direction or identity, getting out of a funk, or even just having a d*mn good, carefree adventure in this one precious life we have! But most times, I don’t fully know what I need until I am out there.

The act solo travel is a great way to cut through all the clutter and noise and find the purity of your own voice, and discover your own wants, needs, and patterns that you might not have even known existed."
