This conversation is going to bring you awareness that there are other options available to you. As we talk through our own experiences and hear about Chelsea’s expertise with nature healing, you may be surprised of how accessible these practices can be in your life!
There isn’t one right way. Finding the way that works best for you! Just don’t give up. Be open to trying different things and allow time for grace.
There are so many ways to heal. A deeper understanding of the therapy world has opened Chelsea up to seeing how nature can come in and be deeply beneficial for healing.
We are designed to be connected with nature. We used to live in cycles with the moon and earth. The cycles that exist within cycles.
We live more authentically when we are in tune in nature.
Nature has so many lessons to teach us.
You don’t need to leave your house to do nature therapies. There are ways to connect with the Earth in an abundance of accessible ways depending on your needs.
We are no one and everything. As humans we try to put things into boxes because it helps our brains make sense of things. Nature is a conduit that makes it so much easier to create new pathways in the brain.
It is so powerful to do this work in nature and you don’t even have to know what is going on. It is subconscious, you aren’t thinking about it.
I love you deeply,
ABSD

Somatic Resources:
*Disclaimer here
I am only listing two women as there are a LOT of free resources out on the web and somatic work can be extremely dysregulating. I don’t recommend that people engage in this work without a Therapist, Coach, Psychiatrist etc to help when starting this work. With that said, many YouTubes video exist on how to heal trauma with a 12 min somatic video which I do not advise and could be more detrimental to people to tread lightly here ....

Opening/grounding poem (useful for meditation or while sitting in nature to recite)
All the Hemispheres
Leave the familiar for a while.
Let your senses and bodies stretch out
Like a welcomed season
Onto the meadows and shores and hills.
Open up to the Roof.
Make a new water-mark on your excitement
And love.
Like a blooming night flower,
Bestow your vital fragrance of happiness
And giving
Upon our intimate assembly.
