The 'Evil Dead' franchise returns to the big screen with the latest installment 'Evil Dead Rise', directed and written by Lee Cronin - and good heavens was this an experience in the cinema!
With some fantastic nods to the original, and its creator Sam Raimi's style of filming, on top of a menacing script and brilliant performances from its leads Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan, 'Evil Dead Rise' is certainly winning over fans and critics and going fairly high in my series' overall ranking. Its gnarly, its fun, its Evil Dead, right?
