The latest release from M. Night Shyamalan finds a young girl and her parents taken hostage, whilst vacationing in a cabin, by four armed strangers - who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With some excellent performances from leads Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge and Dave Bautista (special mention as well to young star Kirsten Cui), this anxiety inducing story does have bright sparks, however, I couldn’t help but feel a tad underwhelmed overall.
