Hello! And welcome to Journey, To, The, Fringe. The description where I write down the highlights of what you will be listening to in this episode.
On this episode we start off talkin' about Brazil, and what is going on in Brazil that is so Journey to the Fringe worthy? Why it is the confederados! Taylor sheds his new found knowledge with us all enlightening us about the US Civil war and where those who did not want to rejoin the United States went in the aftermath... Brazil, of course! Where, today we can still find the weird subgroup, the confederados, maintaining their presence and never really died after the U.S civil war... it just went to Brazil.
Next up the main feature because nobody puts Mothman in the opener. It's Mothman. Chelsie has put together a finely curated list of hair raising sightings from the Lake Michigan area (of the Mothman). We have some fun going through a hand full of these sightings and we discover probably the most important question that you will ever need to ask the passenger of your vehicle; Mothman flies beside the car, do you roll down the window?
Other highlights (which probably wont save your life like that driving tip, could also apply to friendships..etc) include; glowing green eyes, nightmares & paranormal activity, the feeling of being watched, screaming, chirping, many discussions about wings, a religious experience, gargoyles, UFOs, Witches, multiple sightings by the same person and comparisons to bigfoot.
