The crew then transitions into a lengthy conversation about Stephen A. Smith, who just seemed to have a week full of bad judgment and remarks. He made comments about MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani. He added that Ohtani could not be the face of Major League Baseball because, “he would need an interpreter, so you can understand what the hell he is saying”.In addition to this, Nigeria’s historic upset against Team USA Men’s Basketball, Stephen A. Smith took it upon himself to make fun of a few Nigerian player’s last names. The OTR crew questions whether or not Stephen A Smith gave the Nigerian Men’s Basketball team the same way he apologized publicly to Shohei Ohtani and the MLB. Is this an indictment on Espn?
Post-Post Racial World Segment- the crew talks about several racial instances that occurred this week in the soccer world. One in particular that made international headlines, with England’s National soccer team losing to Italy. Two black players on the national team missed two penalty kicks. As a result of these two kicks were racial slurs and comments towards these players from fans Somehow, the crew goes on a tangent/review of The Tomorrow War (Spoiler Alert) for those who plan to watch the film.

Lastly, the crew talks about the disturbing exchange between Richard Sherman’s Wife, Ashley Moss and Seattle police dispatch. Moss called Seattle police after learning that her husband Richard Sherman, a star NFL player for the San Francisco 49’ers was belligerent and made calls threatening to take his own life. The phone call between Ashley and the seattle dispatcher is under investigation, following the claims of the dispatcher being ‘rude’ and ‘combative’ rather than given proper assistance.
