-The Texas Senate Passes Bill to remove required lessons of the Civil Rights Movement and Women's Suffrage from all Public Schools. According to BloombergLaw, the bill was passed 18 to 4, also removing the teaching of critical race theory; an academic framework exploring racism in our country.

-Naomi Osaka clapbacks at Meghan Kelly for tweets that ‘spew negativity’ about mental health. Kelly took to Twitter after a series of photos of Osaka surfaced on multiple magazine covers. Meghan criticized Naomi for not being ‘genuine in her recent decisions of not conducting interviews due to mental health. But, Osaka stated these photos were produced well before she decided to take time off.

- In lighter news, Meghan Thee Stallion becomes the first female rapper to make the Sports Illustrated 2021 Swimsuit cover. This year’s groundbreaking cover models also include Naomi Osaka and Leyna Bloom.

-Why is Boston so expensive? According to the Twitter page, Only In Boston $110,143.02 is the before-tax salary needed to afford a medium-price home in the Boston area. The average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $2,200.

-Breaking News in Major League Baseball. The Cleveland Indians will be changing their names to the Guardians after the 2021 season.

- Lumberton Honda Dealership was under fire after a Facebook post using a derogatory term. The dealership released one of its employees after referring to a customer as “Bone Quisha”
