To me Vincent Drake had always been an aloof figure in the realm of Knoxville creatives. His work has a look that I really enjoy but hard to label. It's deconstructed, composed, chaos, and order all at the same time and I really dig it. When I made it into his studio to record our conversation he made it clear that he very much disliked small talk and was very excited to have a long form conversation about his work, the environments that spawn his creations, and we even get into the nature of free will a bit. We went all over the map with this one and it was a treat to pick his brain but he also picked mine a bit too. So be ready, this conversation could be considered a bit revealing for more than just the guest, we both take a dive into our creative ethos just to do so.
