Advent is drawing us closer and closer to a radical encounter with Jesus in the manger. Despite the fact that we've celebrated one liturgical version of Christmas or another for at least 1700 years, God intends for Christmas to radically change us every year and throughout our lives. Fr. Will Rooney, a priest for the Catholic Diocese of Austin, reminds us of the tremendous gift found in our vocation and relates that to the ultimate gift of the Christ-child in the manger. So make some room for HIM! It's not too late to prepare your heart for Jesus' coming to rescue you.
