Description

Mike Howe is a public affairs professional with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. A proud Wyoming native, Mike has been professionally and socially active in the state for many years. His career began in Wyoming with the Wyoming Municipal Power Agency, followed by roles as an advisor to Governor Jim Geringer and as a policy analyst for Governor Dave Freudenthal, focusing on local government and transportation issues.

He later spent time as a full-time college instructor and worked for utility companies in Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. In addition to his work in energy, Mike is a widely published freelance writer and previously hosted a syndicated radio program. A committed civic leader, Mike has served on numerous nonprofit boards, chambers of commerce, advisory boards, and professional and trade associations. He has been an active Rotarian for over 15 years and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Casper.

Mike earned his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Wyoming and his M.A. in Political Science from Midwestern State University in Texas.
