Description

(Recorded 3-21-25)

If there is one thing we've learned over the last several months and years, all we can predict is a lack of predictability. But how do you, as a leader, respond and react in the face of this seemingly ever-changing workplace landscape? Ask yourself a few questions and be honest with your responses:

- Do you come unhinged when a situation does not go as planned❓

- Do you turn plaid (little Spaceballs reference) when an employee does not do as you requested ❓

- Do you get borderline apoplectic when things go a bit sideways❓

Simply, the above-described behaviors are unacceptable even, and especially, in the face of tension, tumult or terror. It is under those circumstances that a leader's demeanor and actions are of paramount importance. So, what can and should the best of us do in the worst of circumstances?

Two words: Inspire Calm.

I hope you'll listen to this important message and that you will share the post, give us your thoughts, and make more suggestions for future episodes!

Oh, and GO BLUE!
