Wayne Bond has always been a fan of literature and has finally found a way to put that passion to use. In early 2020 when the Pandemic hit, he did everything he could to try to help out. This ranging from considering joining the National Guard to volunteering at every food drive he could. However, there was never a fit to give back. Until in February when a childhood friend that is currently an educator in the Arkansas public school system reached out for me to read to her classroom. Apparently while reading, the class was the best behaved they had been all day; and upon completion the majority of the questions were asking me if I had a YouTube channel. When asking if they would actually watch it, I was met with a resounding YES. Thus Mr. Bond started his YouTube channel Wayne Reads. The rest has been history.

Pull up a seat as Wayne and I discuss in-depth the topic of Intergenerational Dialogue. What are intergenerational issues? The advantage of bringingthe experience, wisdom and skills of different people, different generations is priceless. The kind of collective intelligence, shared meaning among generations can help us to build peaceful and emphatic societies. But how we can go for that on a bigger scale? How to make seniors and young people spending more time together, learning from each other, how to include mid-aged who are so busy today? It depends on people yet we can also create some environment for more intergenerational dialogue.
