Whether with deliberate detail or inadvertent spontaneity, we each chart out a tidy yellow brick road of goals for our lives. I certainly have. Without even realizing it, I have taken my life by the helm and asked God to conform to my flimsy timetable and arrangements. There were times in my life that God exposed my tendency to cling to my own plans instead of embracing His purposes for me. In today’s episode we dive into a discussion pertaining to the ramifications of what happens when our lives are on a downward spiral due to refusing to heed God’s instructions.
Do you recall the last time one decision led you on a downward spiral of rebellion or bad decisions? Those first decisions. Those first choices. They are critical.
If you made a bad choice and found yourself on a descent that has led you places, you’d never thought you’d go, today is a good day to begin an upward climb. While God is a God of justice, he is also compassionate. So, look up. When you do, you’ll see the eyes of a merciful Father looking back with open arms to gather you back to Himself.
