Kelsi grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and currently resides there with her husband George III and three kids George III, Grayson and Karoline. As a two-time cancer survivor and mental health warrior Kelsi has used plant-based nutrition, fitness, and yoga to help heal her own body and manage her mental illnesses. Her realization that this combination of wellness practices can truly change lives has fueled her passion to share this gift with others. Our topic today “Resilience Creates Brilliance ” was chosen by Mrs. Beverly. As a two-time Cancer survivor, her advice is to hold on to hope. She couldn't stop living her life while she was fighting for her life, she reasoned. Life doesn’t stop for cancer. It doesn't even slow down, and she did not want to miss meaningful moments with her husband, their children, and her extended family.
Moreover, Ms. Beverly is a mental health warrior. She has battled with mental illnesses for a significant period of her life, However, Mrs. Kelsi isn't broken. What used to hold her, can't hold her anymore. It's a new horizon for her, her husband, and her children. In today's episode, we’ll hear from Mrs. Beverly and how mental illness impacted her family’s life, her quality of life, and her ability to live an abundant life. We will talk with Mrs. Beverly about how she worked through these issues, how she dealt with the challenges they presented, the resources she accessed, and she will share helpful information pertaining to holistic health measures.
