Fear is the foundation for abuse. The matrix uses a ton of fear mongering tactics to keep people living in fear. We learn to watch out for those subliminal messages that are designed to trick us into thinking about all the negative "what ifs" instead of simply trusting God. When living in fear, people will do things like buy on impulse and consume ungodly things of this world to please the flesh. Chosen ones learn to stop living in fear because God casteth out all fear.
