Truly no other movie can claim to be as ubiquitous as George Lucas’s career defining 1977 space opera. Every set, weapon, ship, character, sound effect and piece of music is iconic, and today, in what is the reviewer’s equivalent of an architect evaluating the structure of the Great Pyramids, we’ll be adding our two cents to the oceans of pennies that have already been spent on this cultural behemoth.
