In the season finale, the crew enters into dialogue on a concept that has had a longstanding, negative effect on the black community - associating intelligence with race. Their individual upbringings and different perspectives become evident early on in the conversation; particularly as they discuss internal and external factors that has led to the current situation. The discussion progresses as the crew give their thoughts on "code switching," their early perceptions of intelligence growing up, and how to break the white-"proper" stigma. The conversation shifts to looking internally, as a [black] community, for identifying and eradicating our own impediments - for the greater good of our people. As the crew concludes the episode, they acknowledge external factors and how to continue progression towards equity, in unison with other races and ethic groups - in a manner that is genuine and impactful.
