On this date in 1949, Newfoundland became Canada's 10th province.
Have you seen the musical "Come from Away"?
It's about 9/11 and all of the planes that were forced to land in Newfoundland.
And how the people there took care of all of those stranded passengers.
And in so doing; Newfoundland became a world symbol for peace, community, and support.
What can you do today, to actively be a symbol of peace, community, and support?
