Description

Heart committed to Loving Christ is a heart committed to obeying Him. “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” - Ephesians 5:15-16 - Hebrews 13:1-6

You know a Pastor is a Man of God by how he exemplifies Christ in the way he lives. “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” - Ephesians 5:1-2 - Hebrews 13:7-9

The old way was fleeting and temporary. The new way, Christ, is permanent and eternal. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” - John 14:1-4 - Hebrews 13:10-14

“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” - Psalm 34:1-3 “...preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” - 2 Timothy 4:2 - Hebrews 13:15-16

“So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: 2 shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; 3 not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.” 1 Peter 5:1-3 “Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 18 For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.” - 1 Timothy 5:17-18 - Hebrews 13:17-19

“...for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13 “...to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” - Ephesians 4:12 - Hebrews 13:20-25 -
