Iona Muscat started off her work life in building restoration with a huge passion for the heritage of Malta, however, in her late twenties, Iona changed direction completely, signing up to train in Ireland as an army officer for the Armed Forces of Malta. Much loved and respected by her colleagues at the AFM, Iona excelled in her career here in Malta, but when the opportunity came to apply to be an AFM pilot Iona jumped at the chance to relocate to Italy to undergo her two year training, due to graduate later this year.
