After retiring from 25 years in higher education and many years of sharing her decadent desserts and treats with family and friends, Jacki Sharpe, pursued her passion and became a pastry chef. At the urging of her son, Wesley, a self-taught baker, they teamed up to create Purple Glaze Donuts, etc. in Asbury Park. Purple Glaze has quickly garnered national attention with many 'best of' awards and has as many local dog fanatics as people lining up at their door!
