Jeff Crespi started taking his son to shows when he was 8 years old as a father son bonding experience. The two very quickly became embraced by the music scene's local supporters of live music. They were were quickly attending over 100 local and mainstream shows a year. Jeff began taking pics to document the experiences - so many photos in fact that he often had to send in his pocket digital camera for replacement!
This continued for years until Jeff gradually started providing professional photo coverage for numerous magazines and outlets. Since then he's been published internationally, nationally, and locally many times. Today, Jeff is the official house photographer for the legendary Stone Pony and Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ, and a house photographer for Starland Ballroom and other venues around town. Jeff's the official photographer for the Lakehouse Music Academy Big Gig shows, the annual Asbury Underground festival, and an event photographer for Asbury Park Oysterfest, the Asbury Park Music and Film Festival, the Asbury Park Light of Day, and and the Sea.Hear.Now Festival. Jeff's won an Asbury Music Award for top music photographer five years running.
It has been an incredible journey with no end in sight as Jeff now covers over 300 shows a year.
