Listen

Description

In his episode, we are joined by Dan Elliott of South Fellowship Church here in Denver. Dan has served as one of the pastors at South for over 20 years in a wide range of roles and responsibilities, and currently oversees Community Care. He was also part of the elder board during South’s intentional season of discernment around a biblical response to women in ministry. Today, we’ll hear about that process: what prompted it, how the leadership and congregation engaged Scripture and one another, and how that journey has shaped South Fellowship as they move forward in an egalitarian vision for ministry. We’re grateful for Dan’s long faithfulness to his church family and look forward to learning from his experience and insight. Listen in while Dan shares his discernment journey from a place of hierarchical complementarian to non-hierarchical complementarianism – which is also known as egalitarianism, or better yet mutuality. Welcome Dan!
