Most Near Death Experiences (NDEs) are wonderful beautiful experiences involving a sense of freedom and peace associated with the Out-of-Body state. People report going through a tunnel or somehow transitioning to another dimension where they can have encounters with beings of Light, deceased relatives, or even the Source of all consciousness itself--what some might call God. Profound feelings of love and peace are common in such experiences.
However, there is another side to the NDE that doesn't get much press. That is people who say they experienced pain and suffering in the afterlife. Most commonly, this involves being in a dark place sometimes referred to as a Void. The screams and wailing of tortured souls can be heard. They experience being attacked, sometimes torn apart by evil tortured souls or devils. Other times people experience other versions of hell or they feel as if they are on trial with heaven or hell weighing in the balance. In this video I try to come to an understanding of what is going on in such distressing NDEs. How should we interpret them? Should we be worried that this could happen to us after death?
