In 1962 theatrical audiences were hit with a tour-de-force adaptation of John D. MacDonald's novel The Executioners. Starring Gregory Peck, Polly Bergen, and a diabolical Robert Mitchum, the film presented a human incarnation of the devil known as Max Cady.

While the film underperformed, its legacy is undeniable; having spawned two remakes - a film and a miniseries - and numerous pop culture homages and references.

Listen in as Dave and Mike Gordon discuss this landmark film and its impact!
