King Charles III was officially crowned king in the first coronation in Britain since 1953 on May 6th, 20231. The coronation ceremony took place at Westminster Abbey in London at 11am U.K. time2. The coronation concert was broadcast live across the world and was watched by millions of people.Although this was the first coronation in seven decades, a lot has changed since the last one. There was a stream of protests across London opposing the coronation. But why are people of England against this coronation and King Charles in general?
