At the top of today's episode, we take a few minutes to discuss the recent tragedy that occurred in Oklahoma involving Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old non-binary kid who was brutally attacked while using the restroom at their school and ended up passing away on February 8th. While there have been many accounts and statements released, not all information about the incident has been released and only a preliminary statement was issued about the autopsy, we felt it was extremely important to include a quick conversation about the event and horrific and unacceptable rhetoric that the local government officials have been spewing even after the event. We hope the family and friends of Nex are able to find peace and justice and that Nex is able to rest in power!
