May is Mental Health and Trauma Awareness Month. In this episode Lisa introduces the "4 F's of Trauma" which are the 4 types of trauma responses. She discusses how trauma can manifest itself in individuals, including different types of situations where trauma can occur. Each one of the trauma responses (or the 4 F's) are broken down, discussing what kind of symptoms or behaviors stem from each. Lastly, she shares out coping techniques for each response, and talks about how you can support yourself, or perhaps someone else that is experiencing these trauma responses.
