October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In this episode we spend time breaking down the prevalent and complex issue that is coercive control. We take time to not only define it, but also share some of the ways it can look or feel within the relationship. We highlight ways someone can recognize if they are in a coercive control relationship, and even share some of our own personal insight. Lastly, we discuss some tips for how to leave a coercive control relationship safely and some things to keep in mind.
