Spun & Todd bring you another informative episode in our limited run series, A Kiss of Life.
In the 90's, Christopher Rumbaugh worked for Blonde Vinyl with Knott as point man, blazing the trail, the label nurtured a creative community around Knottās artistic vision.
Michael Knott himself was a prolific and boundary pushing artist (L.S.U., Lifesavers, Aunt Bettys). Blonde Vinyl became an extension of this ethos: raw, art-driven, honest, and filled with spiritual wrestling.
The label served as a creative collective for artists who wanted to explore faith, doubt, darkness, and beauty without censorship.
Listen in as Spun, Todd & Chris share some incredible recollections of an alternative music era made even more bittersweet since Michael's passing in 2024.
