Description

In this episode of Our Voices, Our Future, we’re joined by powerhouse duo Dr. Eboni Anderson and Dr. Daryl Traylor, whose journeys in medicine, education, and advocacy redefine what it means to lead with purpose.

Dr. Anderson, a six-time college graduate, Director of Community Oriented Primary Care, and Associate Professor of Public Health at A.T. Still University, shares how her lived experiences and academic leadership are helping shape more equitable and compassionate systems in healthcare and education.

Dr. Traylor, a U.S. Army veteran, researcher, and educator whose work bridges HIV prevention, health disparities, and climate-related health effects, offers an inspiring look into resilience, representation, and the importance of centering community voices in medicine.

Together, they bring authenticity, experience, and vision to conversations about inclusion, advocacy, and creating space for underrepresented voices in health education.

In this episode, we explore the personal journeys that shaped Dr. Eboni Anderson and Dr. Daryl Traylor’s paths in medicine and public health, delving into how education, leadership, and advocacy intersect to advance equity.
