In October STSFT hosted a conference all about Nursing and Midwifery Excellence.
Nursing and Midwifery Excellence is the Trust's way of delivering the American Nursing Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Pathway to Excellence programme. The programme aims to promote excellence in practice and shared decision making across our nursing teams and is the only accredited programme of its kind in the world.
On the day, we were joined by colleagues from two other Trust's who have already achieved Pathway to Excellence designation. Listen here to find out how they achieved designation, what their challenges were, and how the Trust will work towards accreditation over the next three years.
