Episode 104 (21.08.22): Tom and John discuss The Hobbit Trilogy, beginning our retrospective of all six Peter Jackson-directed Middle Earth films before the new series The Rings of Power! Turning one book into three movies, The Hobbit struggles to recapture the magic of Lord of the Rings (which we will be covering next week), and while it is ultimately enjoyable and nostalgic for us as kids who grew up with the trilogy, it is ultimately a messy and unfocused attempt!
