Description

When Danny Bedrosian was 11 years old he told his mother he wanted to be the Keyboardist for Parliament-Funkadelic when he grew up. Hear the story of how he made his own dreams come true in this interview. Daniel is now the longest running keyboardist, archivist, historian, and preservationist of the landmark music collective. George Clinton shaped modern music in countless ways, and Danny explains how many of those core concepts are being lost to time. He also talks about the biggest challenges he faced when joining the group, having Bernie Worrell as a mentor, and how he navigated writing the history of the band he has been part of in is new book "Make my Funk the P-Funk". His latest book chronicles the band in 1975 and the changes they went through in a single, electrifying year that saw 3 of George's most iconic albums.
