About Darren Kennedy
Rev. Dr. Darren Kennedy is a professor of theology and the academic dean at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo (ETSC). He was ordained as a Presbyterian minister of Word and Sacrament and has been serving as a PCUSA co-worker in Egypt since 1999. Darren studied the politics and economics of the Middle East as an undergraduate at Princeton University. He earned his M.Div. at Princeton Theological Seminary and later his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh. He is married to Dr. Rev. Elisabeth Kennedy and both of their boys were born in Cairo (Calvin in 2000 and Sammy in 2003).
