PANS' Lisa Woodill speaks with Stacey Smith, Community Pharmacist & Certified Diabetes and Bariatric Educator, on the new Nova Scotia Sensor-Based Glucose Monitor Program, the current devices available and tips on how you can manage your own diabetes or how to support your family member or loved one living with diabetes.

Stacey Smith is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and a Certified Bariatric Educator (CBE) who has practiced in primary care as a consultant pharmacist in the area of diabetes and obesity management for the past 16 years. Stacey’s declarations and conflict(s) of interest include the following: She has received honorariums and payments from Novo Nordisk, Abbott and Dexcom in the past. She has also participated in research/clinical trials sponsored by BD and has been included in Novo Nordisk’s advisory boards. Stacey currently works at a community pharmacy that is part of the CPPCC pilot project but has been a contract employee of Novo Nordisk in the past.
