Exactly two years ago, basically to the day, everyone's lives changed. The novel Coronavirus shut the world down. We were forced to stay inside for days, which turned into months, and then years.
During Covid, we had babies - something that a tiny franction of the population will get to experience (lucky us). If you asked us what we thought the world would be like when Wyatt and Maesyn entered the world, it sure as shit wouldn't have included a global pandemic!! Restrictions seemed to change by the week, so we both had different experiences during the lockdowns and quarantines - as did everyone!
The New York Times released an aritcle called, "Oh, By the Way: I Had a Baby" (also linked below) and it highlights how women navigated their pregnancies in different ways while also navigating the Coronavirus.
Thankfully we, and the women featured in the article, were both able to find some silver linings through this wild time and you'll get to hear some of those in this episode.
