In this episode I spoke with Sonia Balcazar. She is a Latina actress from San Jose, Ca and moved to the city of LA to continue working on her dreams.
In this conversation, Sonia shares how she discovered her purpose in life when she was just six years old. When she was 12 years old she had too many responsibilities like: going to school, practicing cross country, and supporting her parents by taking care of her little sister because they worked all day.
We talked about her first job and she shared how those experiences shaped her into the person she is today. In 2020 she moved to Los Angeles with no connections; she networked through instagram and two years later that effort paid off because she just produced her first short film: Addicted To You.
