"I'm Fcked up, homie, you f*cked up, but if god got us, then We GON BE... "
Alright people, alright.., the PodigalSons are back at it with episode 14 kicking off Black History Month the only way they know how... by being black and making history! Lance starts with an original poem called "The Riddle" (0:01) and Brandon pays respect to Black excellency and the divine nine paradigm (8:50). Does Harvard have Black greeks? Lance has to inform us of the social order of things (14:45) and Brandon reminds us that the top of that social order is eating mummies (18:59). But no matter what taste you have in Black culture, lets all stop saying the n-word in mixed company (23:40). Speaking of mixed company, the Podigal Sons touch on Bridgerton, its creator and everything else Black and streaming (30:28). Why is cognac associated with Black culture (45:45)? Will we repeat the same mistakes (48:00)? I mean there's so much to touch on you'll have to follow through and hold on to something! Biggest take away from this episode, even though Black folk are not a monolith, very soon, WE GON BE ALRIGHT!!!!
