Description

This week, the sisters are stuck in the psychedelic past, talking lady-led workplace sitcoms and equally solid spin-offs, a sinister-seeming sweepstakes to tour a slightly quirkier workplace, and the seventh heaven that is, um, "pioneer" life in the 1930s. With snacks.

Copyright Disclaimer

Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act in 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing.

Fair Use Definition

Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author's work under a four-factor balancing test.

Fair Dealing Definition

Fair Dealing is a statutory right under Canadian copyright law that allows limited use of copyright-protected works for certain purposes without requiring permission from the rights holders. The Supreme Court of Canada has stated that fair dealing is an integral part of the Copyright Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42, and that, when fair dealing requirements are met, there is no need to look further to more specific exceptions in the Copyright Act nor for any other permission. All rights and credit go directly to its rightful owners. No copyright infringement intended. In compliance with the above, especially ss.29.1 and 29.2 of the Copyright Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42, the following is a list of works, their sources and authors, performers, makers, and/or broadcasters, discussed during this episode:
