This week, we move into part 6 of an 8-part series based upon Paul's new book The Way Back. The point of all we have done these past 5 weeks can be summarized in this short, but powerful statement: The moment we begin to see God clearly, is the moment we begin to see ourselves clearly. It is a right and honest view of God and of self that moves us to embrace the attitude of humility, which sets the stage for our journey back to relationship with God.
In this episode, Paul and Ben begin to talk through the idea of biblical repentance as framed by several Old Testament passages. Each time His people walked away from Him, God invited them to turn back to Him. In this sense, biblical repentance is every bit as much about what will happen in the future as it is about what has happened in the past. Join us as we talk through these incredibly important ideas.
