Tennis champions were crowned this week, and three area teams won: Lafayette, New Albany and Saltillo (1:12). In coaching news, Justin Reed is resigning as Tupelo baseball coach at season's end (3:43), and Brad says that's an opening that will attract a ton of interest.
It's spring football time, and both guys have updates. Brad gets us up to speed on Tupelo (5:56), while James has a report from Baldwyn (8:00).
The baseball and softball playoffs are in full swing. Tishomingo County completed a sweep of Houston in 4A softball (8:50), while New Albany baseball took down Northeast Lauderdale (10:20). The second round for Classes 1A through 4A starts this weekend, while it's the first round for 5A through 7A, and Brad highlights some of the notable matchups (11:11).
