We tend to think of foods as something that has calories, fibers, sugars, carbs proteins, vitamins & minerals... But is that really it? Or is there more?
Sure, we have recently added compounds to the list like phytonutrients & polyphenols which too somehow fall short at times to explain the miracles of foods on human health.
We keep discovering & learning something new about foods derived from nature with the passage of time & almost always, its something to do with their properties of healing & protecting! One thing is for sure, these foods derived from nature are more than what meets the eye & have far more to offer, beyond our imagination!
